Sour Cream Fudge

Ingredients

  • 2 c sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 1/2 c broken pecans (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Butter 8 x 8 pan.

Cook sugar, salt and sour cream in saucepan over medium heat to 236, stirring occasionally about 15 minutes. Add butter. Cool at room tempertaure, without stirring until lukewarm, about 110 degrees. Beat until it loses its gloss, add nuts. Spread mixture in pan.
