Ingredients
- 2 LBS GROUND BEEF OR TURKEY
- 1 LARGE ONION - CHOPPED
- 1 CAN GREEN CHILIES
- 1 CAN ROTEL TOMATOES - ORIGINAL
- 1/4 CUP CHOPPED JALAPENOS - FRESH OR JAR
- * 1/4 CUP JUICE FROM JAR JALAPENOS
- 2 CANS HUNTS TOMATOE SAUCE
- 1 CAN HUNTS DICED TOMATOES
- 2 CANS KIDNEY BEANS (NO SAUCE)
- 1 LARGE CAN HUNTS TOMATOE PASTE
- 1 PACKET CHILI SEASONING
- 1 - 2 TSP CHILI POWDER
- SEVERAL DASHES OF HOT SAUCE
Preparation
Step 1
BROWN GROUND BEEF AND ONIONS. DRAIN. ADD TOMATOE PRODUCTS AND SEASONINGS TO THE CROCK POT. ADD BEFF/ONIONS. TURN CROCK POT TO HIGH. AFTER THE SOUP IS HOT, ADD PASTE TO THICKEN. USUSALLY 1/2 TO 3/4 OF THE CAN IS SUFFICIENT.
SERVE WITH CRACKERS, CHEESE AND SOUR CREAM.
