Ingredients
- Duncan Hines Moist yellow cake mix
- 1 1/3 cups water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- fresh strawberries, for garnish
- 2 small boxes vanilla instant pudding & pie filling
- 4 cups 2% milk
- 1 10-ounced package frozen strawberries, halved, in heavy syrup, defrosted
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare yellow cake according to package directions for 9x13 inch pan size. Cool slightly, then remove from pan. Slice cake in half horizontally and place bottom half back in pan. Using a toothpick, poke holes. Set aside and prepare instant pudding according to package directions. Spread 1/2 of pudding over bottom half of cake. Place top half of cake on top of pudding and repeat prior steps. Slice fresh strawberries and garnish. Refrigerate.
