Sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp almond flavoring or lemon flavoring
  • 1 1/2 pt. sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time beating hard. Add sour cream alternately with flour. Add 1/2 tsp soda to last tsp of sour cream. Bake 325º for 1 hour. Do not beat batter too hard as will make cake dry and tight.. Use bakers joy to grease tube pan.
