Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (4 oz) can chopped green chilies, drained
  • 2 Tblsp picante sauce
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 2 (8 oz) cans crescent dinner rolls

Step 1

Beat cream cheese, add cheese, chilis, picant sauce, chili powder, garlic salt, onion powder. Mix well. Separate each tube of crescent roll dough into 4 rectangles. Press perforations to seal.

Spread about 1/4 cup cheese mixture over each rectangle. Roll up jelly style, starting with short side. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill 1 hr. Cut each roll into 8 slices, place on ungreased bake sheets. Sprinkle with additional chili powder, if desired. Bake 350 degrees 10-12 minutes. May use jalapenos for extra kick if desired.
