Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 tbs. diced jalapeno pepper
  • 1 15oz can kidney beans with liquid
  • 1 14 ½ ounce can peeled diced tomatoes
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbs. white vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • Grated cheddar

Preparation

Step 1

Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain fat. Crumble the beef. Add the onions and pepper, and sauté for 2 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients, except for the cheese and stir occasionally, cook 1 hour. Add the cheese just before serving.
