Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 3 TBS flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup pecans
- Unbanked pie crust

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter, sugar, adding 1/2 cup sugar at a time. Add vanilla and eggs 1 at a time. Add flour, salt in small amounts. Add buttermilk. Stir well.
Place pecans in bottom of pie crust. Pour custard filling.
Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes at 300. Best served at room temperature. Refrigerate leftovers.
