Southern Sweet Tea

This is a recipe that a family friend gave to us when we were living in Florida.

Ingredients
- 6 Tetley Tea Bags
- 2 1/2 quarts of water (10 cups)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
Preparation
Step 1
To a medium - large Dutch oven pot, add the water. Bring the water to a boil and add the tea bags; Boil the tea for 5 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and allow the tea bags to sit in the tea for 5 - 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and pour the tea into a large pitcher. Add the sugar and stir thoroughly. Serve the tea warm over ice cubes and refrigerate the remaining tea.
