A Greek appetizer also used as a sauce for souvlaki and gyros. Tzatziki is made of strained yoghurt and is always served cold. This is Yia-Yia's recipe.

  • 500 grams Fage Yogurt
  • 1 medium-sized Cucumber, peeled and finely grated
  • 1-2 Cloves of Fresh Garlic to taste (Can substitute with Garlic Powder)
  • Olive Oil

Step 1

Scoop yogurt into a small bowl. Stir in cucumber and garlic, use more or less garlic to suit your preference. Pour just enough oil to cover the yogurt mixture, cover with plastic wrap and let sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve cold.
