Homemade Noodles (Nan)
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon oil or shortening
- 1 scant teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoondry milk powder
- 2 cups flour
Cooking time 30mins
Beat the eggs with water, then add salt and oil and beat.
Combine dry ingredients and work egg mixture into flour. Add more flour if needed to make stiff dough.
Roll dough thin on a floured board and let dry for two hours. Roll like a jelly roll and cut into thin slices.
Cook noodles 30 minutes in boiling beef or chicken broth.
