Ingredients
- parts of chicken or whole chicken
- 3/4 c water
- salt
- celery
- carrots
- 1 onion
Preparation
Step 1
Wash chicken, remove skin, and put into pot with water.
Bring to a boil.
Skim top as soon as it comes to a boil.
Lower heat to low and keep skimming.
After skimming, you can remove chicken and take meat off of the bone.
Return meat to broth.
Add in salt, celery, and whole onion.
Cook on low to medium heat for approximately 1 1/2 hours, covered.
