  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 tbs sour cream
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 1 tsp worchestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 2 lbs lump crab meat
  • 2 cups italian bread crumbs
  • corn meal
  • vegetable oil
  • tarter sauce or remoulade

Step 1

In bowl, wisk butter, eggs, sour cream, parsley, lemon juice, worchestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and cayenne pepper. Slowly mix in crab and bread crumbs.

Form 12 patties and put on baking sheet sprinkled with cornmeal. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour.

Heat 1/2 cup vegetable oil in skillet to medium-high. Saute 3 minutes per side, then keep warm in a 200 degree oven.

Serve with tartar sauce or remoulade.
