  • 6 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chipotle chiles in adobo, chopped
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 1 1/2 pounds small red-skinned potatoes, halved

Preparation

Step 1

1. Prehaet oven 425°
2. In deep skillet heat 3 tablespoons of butter over med heat
3. add garlic and cook . . . 3 min
4. Using slotted spoon transfer garlic to bowl
5. add onion and cook to soften
6. Add chiles in adobo sauce
7. add ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, and garlic and cook stirring . . . 5 min
8. Using thongs coat chicken in saucve, place in Temptations
9. Bake 30 mins
10. Boil potatoes in salted water
11. simmer 12 mins
12. drain then mash with 3 tablespoons of butter
