Pork Chops and Apples

Ingredients

  • 2-3 medium apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 4 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 pork rib chops, 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick (about 1/4 pound each

Preparation

Step 1

Rub bottom of casserole pan with butter. Place apples in 1 1/2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.

season pork chops with seasoned salt, pepper and Accent. Cook pork chops in hot skillet about 3 minutes on each side, until light brown.

Place pork in single layer on apples. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or bake in oven 45 minutes or until pork is slightly pink when cut near the bone and apples are tender.
