Skillet Chicken with Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients

  • 4 - 5 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 2 - 3 cups bread crumbs
  • Two 4 oz. cans Green Giant Mushroom Stems & Pieces
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 10 3/4 oz. can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 cup water
  • Vegetable Oil

Preparation

Step 1

Place 1/4" vegetable oil on the bottom of a large skillet. Dip the thawed chicken breasts in the beaten eggs and turn the chicken over to coat both sides. Next, place the chicken pieces into the bread crumbs and turn the chicken over to coat both sides. Cook the chicken over MEDIUM heat, flipping the chicken over 3 times in 15 minutes. Add the mushrooms, cream of chicken soup, and water to the skillet and simmer until the soup is completely mixed and the chicken is completely done, flip the chicken over one more time. Serve the chicken and gravy over rice.
