Lemon Carrots

  • 3lbs. sliced carrots
  • 9T. butter
  • 6 T. sugar
  • 1 lemon



Step 1

Cook carrots in boiling water and drain. Melt butter with sugar and stir till sugar is dissolved. Add thin slices of lemon, cut in half, to butter mixture. Cook for 5 minutes. Add carrots to butter mixture, stir to coat carrots, and but in casserole dish. Warm just before serving.
