Berry Crumble

Ingredients

  • 6 cups of fruit
  • 1 tbs of flour
  • 1 tbs of lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup of flour
  • 3/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of oats
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 4 1/2 tbs of butter

Preparation

Step 1

1. Rinse and drain your fruit thoroughly. If baking with strawberries and peaches, make sure to slice ahead of time. Place fruit in a bowl and add 1 tbs of flour and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly and pour in to a 10′ pie plate.

2. In a food processor, combine remaining ingredients and pulse until fine, resembling course bread crumbs. Pour over fruit mixture evenly and place in the oven, baking for 30 minutes until the top is brown and fruit is bubbling.


3. Can be served hot or room temperature, goes very well with ice cream.
