Ingredients

  • 28 oz can diced Tomatoes
  • 1/4 red bell pepper
  • 1/4 green bell pepper
  • 1/4 large sweet onion
  • 2 tablespoon chopped garlic or two cloves
  • 1/4 of one pickled Habanero (more if you like hotter)
  • 1/3 bunch cilantro
  • 1-1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Puree all ingredients in food processor except tomatoes. Add tomatoes and puree to desired consistency.

This Salsa can be used as a basis for several different flavors;

Black Bean
1/2 cup Tim's Salsa
2-3 pickled Jalapenos
1 can ranch style black beans

Drain juice from Black beans add to rest of ingredients to processor and puree.

Serve with corn chips and enjoy!!
