Italian mashed potato pie

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 lbs russet potatoes (peeled and cut)
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 stick butter (melted)
- 1 1/2 cup grated mozzerella
- 1 cup grated parmasean
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tbsp plain dry bread crumbs

Preparation
Step 1
preheat oven 400
coat 13x9x2 pan with butter
boil potatoes in salt until tender about 15 min
drain, mash
add milk, melted butter, mozzarella and 3/4 cup parmeasan.
salt and pepper to taste
transfer to baking dish
in a small bowl add breadcrumbs and 1/4 cup parm cheese and sprinkle over top
recipe can be made day before just cover and chill
bake uncovered until topping is golden brown about 20 minutes
