  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 4 lbs russet potatoes (peeled and cut)

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1 stick butter (melted)

  • 1½ cup grated mozzerella

  • 1 cup grated parmasean

  • salt

  • pepper

  • 2 tbsp plain dry bread crumbs


preheat oven 400 coat 13x9x2 pan with butter boil potatoes in salt until tender about 15 min drain, mash add milk, melted butter, mozzarella and 3/4 cup parmeasan. salt and pepper to taste transfer to baking dish in a small bowl add breadcrumbs and 1/4 cup parm cheese and sprinkle over top recipe can be made day before just cover and chill bake uncovered until topping is golden brown about 20 minutes
