Sausage, Egg and Biscuit Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. breakfast sausage
  • 7 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp. each salt and pepper
  • 8 frozen buttermilk biscuits, partially thawed, halved
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Step 1

Layer biscuit bottoms of 7x11 baking dish - spray with non stick spray. Sprinkle half of sausage over biscuit bottoms. Top with half the cheddar cheese. Repeat layering, except for cheddar. Mix eggs thru pepper and pour over two layers. Place dish on baking sheet and bake 30 min. at 375. Sprinkle remaining cheddar over top and put back in oven until eggs are set (thermometer registers 165) maybe 10-15 min. more. Let stand 10 min., and serve.
