Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 can Swanson's beef broth
- 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
- 3/4 cup uncooked regular rice
- 1 tbsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Step 1
In a skillet, cook beef, onion, and pepper until beef is browned and vegetables are tender; stir to separate meat. Spoon off fat.
Stir in broth, tomato sauce, rice, chili powder and garlic powder. Heat to boiling. Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed; stir occasionally. Serve with cheese and sour cream if desired.
