Preparation
Step 1
Brown hot sausage in skillet; drain; cool. Spread both packages of
cream cheese in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Soften green pepper and onion
in the microwave in a small bowl with a little bit of water for about
3-4 minutes. Spread hot sausage over cream cheese; sprinkle peppers
and onions over hot sausage. Pour salsa over all. Sprinkle with
shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for about
15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve with
tortilla chips or crackers. You may need a spoon in the dip to make
it easier to serve. Serves about 6-8 people (depending on how many
other appetizers, etc)
