Blue Willow Bars

This recipe is for the dessert bars they served at the Blue Willow Inn in Social Circle, GA. Delicious!!!

Ingredients

• Base:
• 1 box Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Golden cake mix
• 1 stick unsalted butter
• 1 c. Chopped Pecans
• 1 Egg
• Topping:
• 1 box powdered sugar
• 1 (8 oz.) pkg Cream Cheese
• 3 Eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300.

Mix dry cake mix, pecans, butter, and egg together (mix well).

Press into 13 x 9 pan (keep hands cold so the mixture does not stick).

Mix cream cheese, eggs and powdered sugar (will be lumpy). Pour over base.

Bake for 55 minutes.
