Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- one stick margarine
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1/2 cup raisens
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup dry milk or 1 cup regular
- Note: 2 teaspoons baking powder to 1 cup flour except in using self rising flour when baking powder is not needed.

Preparation
Step 1
Put all dry ingredients except raisens into a large bowl.
Rub butter into mixture until very fines. Make a well and pour water in gradually (1 - 1 1/2 cups or 1 cup regular milk). Add the whole egg and mix.
Add raisens and mix until raisens are evenly distributed.
Pour into a 9x9 greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
test center for dryness. When ready turn out of pan and cover with towel until cool.
