Sesame Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 fryer, cut-up
  • 4 Tbsp lemon juice, divided
  • Sesame seeds
  • 4 Tbsp butter, melted, divided
  • 2 Tbsp flour, divided

Preparation

Step 1

1. Butter a 13x9x2" pan.

2. Season both sides of chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

3. Place chicken, side-by-side, in pan and sprinkle with 2 Tbsp lemon juice, sesame seeds, 1 Tbsp flour and 2 Tbsp melted butter.

4. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.

5. At the end of 30 minutes, turn chicken pieces and sprinkle with 2 Tbsp lemon juice, sesame seeds, 1 Tbsp flour, 2 Tbsp melted butter. REturn to oven for 30 minutes and raise temp to 400F.

5. Meanwhile, cook the rice.

6. When chikcen is done, remove to platter, add the cooked rice to the baking dish and stir in juice until well mixed. Place chicken back on top and return to oven, set at 200F until ready to eat.

Serve with green vegetable.
