Ingredients
- Half of a 15 oz. can Contadina Pizza Sauce
- Two 6.5 oz. packages Betty Crocker Pizza Crust
- 1 - 1 1/2 lbs. lean Ground Beef
- 3/4 of a 3.5 oz. pkg. Hormel Pepperoni Slices
- 1/8 lb. sliced ham, shredded
- 4 oz. can Green Giant Mushrooms Stems and Pieces, drained
- 6 oz. can Large Black Olives, drained and sliced in half
- 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
- 1 large tomato, seeded and diced
- Oregano (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Make the Pizza Dough according to the directions on the package. Meanwhile, cook the lean ground beef in a skillet. Add the dough to a 13" baking stone and spread the dough out to 1 1/2" - 2" from the edge of the stone. *If the dough tears, pinch the hole together gently and even the dough out over the stone.* Spread the pizza sauce onto the dough, out to about 1 1/2" from the edge of the crust. Add the pepperoni slices over the sauce (in circular layers starting at the outer edge of the sauce and work your way to the center) to cover all of the sauce. Add the shredded ham over the top of the pepperoni slices. Add the ground beef evenly over the ham. Add the mushrooms and black olives evenly over the ground beef. Sprinkle the green pepper and tomato pieces over the pizza. Spread the mozzarella cheese evenly over the pizza, *making sure to cover all the toppings and the sauce but NOT to cover the crust or the edges of the pizza dough*. Sprinkle oregano over the cheese. Bake the pizza at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes. Allow the pizza to sit for 5 - 10 minutes before cutting and serving the slices.
