Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 loaf bread
  • 2 C. celery chopped
  • 3 med. onions 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. sweet basil
  • 1/2 tsp. marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme rubbed
  • 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 1/2 pt. fresh oysters (mashed)
  • 2 Tbsp. Lipton dry onion soup
  • 2 sticks butter

Preparation

Step 1

Brown onion & celery in butter. Mix above ingredients. Pour the stock and gizzards over mix (just enough to moisten). Stuff loosely in cavity of bird. Cook extra stuffing in casserole for approximately 1 hour only.
