Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 1/3 - 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 12 oz. vermicelli noodles
- 28 oz. jar Prego Fresh Mushroom Spaghetti Sauce
- 4 oz. can Green Giant Mushroom Stems and Pieces
- 1/8 - 1/4 pkg. Sargento Pizza Cheese
- Garlic powder
- Oregano
Preparation
Step 1
In a skillet, spread the vegetable oil evenly onto the bottom of the skillet. Add the chicken, oregano, and garlic powder. Cook the chicken on MEDIUM-HIGH heat until the chicken is no longer pink in the center; Drain. Cook the vermicelli noodles according to the directions on the package; Drain. Add the Prego spaghetti sauce and mushrooms to the chicken and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes. Pour the sauce mixture over the vermicelli noodles and top with the cheese.
