Ingredients
- 1 c pearl barley
- 2 t butter
- 3/4 c chopped onion
- 1/3 c slivered almonds
- 3 c chicken broth
Preparation
Step 1
1)rinse and drain barley.
2) melt butter in skillet; add barley, onions and almonds til lightly browned.
3)place in cooker and add broth. cover and cook low 4 1/2-5 hours or til barley tender or most of broth is absorbed.
