Ingredients
- 1 package turkey meatballs
- 1 – 18 ounce jar grape jelly, or one can cranberry sauce
- 3 – 12 ounce bottles Heinz chili sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Cook meatballs in oven according to package directions.
Combine jelly and chili sauce in a large pot. Bring to simmer so that ingredients combine and jelly melts.
Put meatballs in sauce, and stir gently to coat. Can transfer meatballs to slow cooker to keep warm during a party.
Cooks note: Substitution for chili sauce - 1 cup tomato sauce + 1/4 cup brown sugar + 2 tbsp vinegar + 1/4 tsp cinnamon + dash of ground cloves + dash of ground allspice = 1 cup chili sauce
