Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 14 ounces spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 7 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
- 1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
- 1 package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
Preparation
Step 1
Cook beef, onion, and garlic.
Combine sauce, water, tomato sauce, paste, salt and pepper. Add to skillet; bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine eggs, macaroni, bread crumbs, spinach and cheese. Put in a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Top with meat sauce.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until 160 degrees.
