Country Sausage and Potato Au Gratin

Ingredients

  • One pound of Hillshire Farm sausage (beef and turkey)
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 pkg. Au Gratin potatoes
  • 2 1/2 cups hot water
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 medium carrots (cut in julienne strips)
  • 1 pkg. frozen broccoli
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar

Preparation

Step 1

Slice sausage in 1/2 inch pieces and cook with onions in oil until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in potatoes, sauce, and water. Add pepper. Heat to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in carrots, cover and simmer until tender. Stir in broccoli and cheese. Cook 5 to 10minutes longer.
