  • 1 9" unbaked pie shell
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 450F. Bake pie shell 5 minutes. Cream butter and browm sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in syrup, vanilla and salt and mix well. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour mixture into shelll, bake at 450F for 10 minutes. Turn oven down to 350F and bake for anothe 20-25 minutes.
