MAPLE SWEET POTATOES

Ingredients

  • 1 large red cooking apple
  • 2 Tbsps butter
  • 1 16-ounce can cut sweet potatoes in syrup, drained
  • 2 Tbsps maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp light brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cut apple into wedges. In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot butter, cook apple wedges 3 to 5 minutes until golden and fork tender.

Add sweet potatoes, maple syrup and brown sugar; cook until sugar melts and mixture i s heated through.
