Dessert Pecan "sandwiches"

Ingredients

• 1/3 cup butter, softened
• 1/3 cup light karo syrup
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 lb. powered suger

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix all together in large mixing bowl with spoon first, then with hands.
2. Knead with hands on board until smooth.
3. This is used as a filling between two pecan halves and may be flavored in many different ways-rum, maple, bourbon, orange, mint,ect.
4. Use a peice of filling about the size of a marble and flatten on one pecan half then press second pecan half over first, forming a pecan "sandwich"
