Ingredients

  • Fondue Ingredients:
  • 3 1/2 cups Vegetable stock
  • 1/2 cup Burgundy wine
  • 1/2 cup Sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic, minced
  • 2 Green onions, sliced
  • ---Marinades---
  • I make these up in sandwich baggies and marinate my meat selections over night.
  • HoneyMustard Mutation:
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Yogurt
  • 3 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 11/2 tsp Dry mustard
  • 2 tsp Curry powder
  • 1/2 cup Lemon juice
  • Kakariki:
  • Soy Sauce - as much soy sauce as you need to coat meat.
  • Worchestershire sauce - to your own tastes You can tell by the smell how much you want. my sister uses 4 drops for 1/2 - 3/4 cups soy sauce. I use more like 1-2 Tbsp per 1/2 - 3/4 cups soy sauce.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper or salt & pepper to taste
  • Entree types to cook in fondue:
  • Marinated beef
  • Marinated chicken
  • Salmon
  • Shrimp

Preparation

Step 1

cut up and marinate your meats the night before.


put all fondue ingredients into the pot and wait until it is sufficiently heated that the contents are constantly moving around in the liquid and it is sufficiently hot to cook in.


use raw meat ONLY fondue forks to skewer the meat pieces one piece per fork and stick it in the pot. Each meat has it's own cooking time to be sure that it is sufficiently cooked before eating
