- INGREDIENTS: 1 PKG CHOCOLATE CAKE MIX (18-1/4 OZ) Box chocolate cake mix
- 1 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
- ½ CUP MELTED MARGARINE
- ¼ CUP CHOCOLATE SYRUP
- 2 EGGS
- 1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
- ½ TSP ALMOND EXTRACT
- ½ CUP SILVERED ALMONDS
- ½ CUP MINATURE SEMISWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS

Step 1
IN A BOWL, COMBINE FIRST SEVEN INGREDIENTS, MIX WELL. THEN STIR IN THE ALMONDS AND THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS.
PUT A PIECE OF WAX PAPER ON A COOKIE SHEET. DIVIDE DOUGH INTO TO LOG SHAPE THAT ARE 12 IN BY 2 INCHES. BAKE AT 350 FOR 30 TO 35 MINUTES OR UNTIL FIRM TO THE TOUCH. REMOVE FORM OVEN A COOL FOR 15 MINUTES. TRANSFER TO A CUTTING BOARD AND CAREFULLY CUT DIAGONALLY WITH A SERRATED KNIFE INTO ½ IN. SLICES. PLACE CUT SIDE DOWN DIRECTLY ON THE COOKIE SHEET AND BAKE FOR 10 TO 15 MINUTES LONGER OR UNTIL FIRM.
