Morel ragout

Ingredients

  • 1 package dryed morels
  • butter
  • olive oil
  • cream
  • shallots
  • consider knor brown gravy

Preparation

Step 1

Let morels soak in warm water for 20 minutes
Remove morels from water
Strain liquid only through paper towel on colander

Saute shallets in olive oil and butter

Add Morels and saute for a few minutes

Remove mushrooms from pan and add back strained water and reduce
Add cream if desired
