Ingredients
- 1/2 Stick Butter
- 1 Cup Red Wine
- 8 Yellow Onions, diced
- 12 Cups of Water
- 1 Jar of Beef Base
- Croutons
- Provolone Cheese
- Swiss Cheese

Step 1
Combine Water, Butter, Wine, and Onions in a large stock pot and bring to a boil. Add the Beef Base. Continue cooking and stirring over medium heat for 20 minutes.
Spoon soup into crocks, top with a generous amount of croutons, 2 pieces of provolone, and 2 pieces of swiss cheese.
Place crocks under the broiler and heat about 1 minute until cheese starts to bubble.
