Often served in the 'Wermers' household- we used to say that the kidney beans were fingers or toes and the potatoes were other body parts...get it - shipwreck? (Sick, right? I know - but we were kids!)

Ingredients

  • 1 can tomoato soup

  • 2 lbs. hamburger

  • 1 cup celery

  • 1/2 cup onion

  • 1 can kidney beans

  • 4 cups raw, sliced potatoes

  • 1 cup milk

  • Salt/pepper (dash)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook and crumble burger - drain. Add tomato soup and celery, onion, kidney beans, and potatoes. Pour the milk over all. Bake in casserole dish for 30 minutes - one hour. There was some question about the milk and how much time to actually cook it. It was awhile ago that mom made this for us kids. Sorry. If this works for you, keep track of the time for me. Mom
