Hot Oat and Quinoa Cereal
- 1/2 cup dried fruit
- 1/2 cup steel cut oats
- 1/2 cup quinoa
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cardamom
Bring all ingredients to a boil with 4 cups of water. take off heat, cover, and let sit overnight.
Before serving, reheat in saucepan, covered over medium low heat.
stir occasionally, add water as needed.
serve with milk, maple syrup, pumpkin seeds or toasted nuts.
