Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Frosting
  • 2 2/3 cup icing sugar
  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 5 tsps hot water

Preparation

Step 1

In a small sauce pan melt margarine and cocoa, stirring as it melts. Remove from heat.
In a med bowl, beat eggs until frothy. Add sugar, flour, and salt. Don't stir yet. Then pour cocoa mixture over top and stir all together. Scrape batter into a greased 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Cool and then frost.
