Buttermilk Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. soda

Preparation

Step 1

Add 3/4 cups of sugar to the egg whites. Measure flour before sifting. Sift one time.
1 cup buttermilk- add 1/2 t. soda

Bake for 20 minutes, 275°, 20 min. 300°, 30 min. 350°
