French Silk Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 baked pie crust
  • 3 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened
  • chocolate, cut in pieces
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 t. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • whipped topping

Preparation

Step 1

Bake pie crust and cool. In small saucepan melt chocolate over low heat and cool. Beat butter until light and fluffy. Beat in cooled chocolate and vanilla until well blended. Add eggs 1 at a time beating for 2 minutes after each addition until smooth and fluffy. Pour into pie crust and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Garnish with whipped topping.
