"MY DADDY'S" CHILI

Ingredients

  • Directions:
  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 T. butter
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (16 oz) can tomatoes
  • 1 t. cumin salt
  • 2 T. chili powder
  • 1 T. paprika
  • 1 1/2 t. minced hot red pepper
  • 1 (16 oz) can red beans, rinsed, drained (optional)
  • Saute ground beef, onion and garlic in butter.
  • Add other ingredients and cook slowly for 2 hours or longer.
