White Sauce Mixture
To be used for Creamed Vegetables or anything else.
- To Use:
- White Sauce Mixture
- 2 1/4 C of Instant Non-Fat Dry Milk
- 1/2 C Corn Starch
- 1 Tsp of Salt
- 1/2 Tsp of Pepper
- ((Mix well and store in air tight container))
- 2 Tbsp of Butter, Margarine, or Oleo
- 1/3 C of above Sauce Mixture
- 3/4 C Water
In Small Sauce pan, melt Butter/Margarine/Oleo. Remove from heat. Stir in Sauce Mixture and Water. Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring contstantly and boil one minute.
For thin Sauce: 1/3 C of sauce mixture and 1 C of Water
For thick Sauce: 2/3 C of sauce mixture and 1 C of Water
