Williams Sonoma Potlatch Salmon Seasoning

The blend was inspired by the traditional seasonings Pacific Northwest Indians used when preparing salmon for their ceremonial feasts known as potlatches. Fruity and slightly hot, it also enhances meat and poultry and adds a kick to corn on the cob.

Ingredients

  • 4 coriander seeds, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 4 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container. You can multiply the recipe and store for later use.
