  • 2 pounds Chuck Steak (cubed bite sized and trimmed)
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 4 slices green pepper
  • 1 tomato (quartered)
  • 1 tbsp Spice Mix (see bottom)
  • 2 tsp beef stock or broth
  • 4 oz Tomato sauce
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp Flour (for gravy)
  • Spice mix
  • 4 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 4 tsp Cumino
  • 1 skinned Garlic pod
  • 1 cup water
  • Place in Blender and liquify
  • Place in tight sealed container and refrigerate till use.



Step 1

Add vegetable oil and cubed meat to skillet and fry until juices have evaporated and meat starts to fry. Add onion and pepper and fry till onion is clear. Add spice mix and tomato sauce and stir. Add 2-1/2 cups of water to skillet, quartered tomato then cover and simmer 20-30 minutes or until meat is tender.

Put flour in a jar and add 1/3 cup water and shake until smooth. After meat is tender, add this a little at a time to meat stirring until desire texture of the gravy is reached.

If gravy gets to thick add water to dilute and simmer 10 more minutes.
