Ingredients
- 4 large green peppers
- 2 tbs evoo
- 1 1/2 # ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/3 c celery, finely diced
- 1/2 c onion, finely diced
- 1 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 3/4 c sliced green olives
- 1/3 c seedless raisins
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp allspice
- 1 1/2 c brown rice, cooked
- 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Clean peppers, slice in half. Place in boiling salty water and cook 5 minutes. Drain.
Brown meat and drain. Set aside.
Saute celery, garlic, and onion in evoo.
Add beef and all other ingredients. except sauce,
Mix well and stuff into cooled shells. Pour sauce over peppers and bake at 350* for 30 minutes
