Ingredients

  • 8 tab unsalted butter

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1/2 teas ground cinnamon

  • 1/4th teaspoon allspice

  • 1 3/4 cups of cranberries

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 teas vanilla extract

  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 teasp baking powder

  • 1/4 teas salt

  • 1/2 cup milk.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 rub the bottom and sides of a pan with 2 tab of butter in a small bowm whisk together 1/2 cup of sugar with the cinnamon and the allspice Sprinkle the mixture in the bottom of the pan then add the layer of the cranberries on top. with a mixer cream remaining 6 tab of butter and 1/2 cup of sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla and beat until well combined In anoterh bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt With a mixer on low speed, add flour mixture in three batches alternating with the milk until well combined. Spoon batter over the cranberries bake for 30 to 35 munutes until toothpick comes out & center is clear
